Link to any page and share individual listings, sport guides and Matchmaker quiz results with friends, clubs and social media.
Quote short bits with a link back to the page they came from.
The directory is our work
The map and its listings are hand-built and checked one place at a time. The selection, organization, sport tags, descriptions and notes are Sporting Hound’s. Without our written permission, please don’t:
Scrape, crawl, download or copy listings in bulk, by hand or with software, including through the site’s data feeds.
Republish the directory, or a substantial part of it, in another website, app, dataset or product.
Use the site’s content to build or train a competing directory or database.
Get around rate limits, blocks or other measures that protect the site.
Search engines and AI assistants that read pages to point people back to Sporting Hound are welcome. If you have an idea for working with our data, email us. We’re happy to talk.
Listings: check before you go
We work hard to keep listings accurate, but places close, move and change their schedules. Confirm details with the trainer, club, facility or event host before you travel or sign up. Listing a place isn’t an endorsement, and we aren’t part of any arrangement you make with them.
Run a place we list? You can claim, correct or remove your listing. Email privacy@sportinghound.com or use the claim link on your listing.
Your dog, your call
Sport guides and Matchmaker quiz results are general information, not veterinary or training advice for your dog. Check with your vet before starting a new sport, and follow the rules of the club or organization you train or compete with. You’re responsible for your dog’s safety and behavior.
Accounts and what you post
Keep your login to yourself, and only post photos and information you have the right to share. You keep ownership of what you post. You let us show it on Sporting Hound so the features you use can work. We may remove content or close accounts that break these terms. Our privacy policy explains what we collect and why.
No guarantees
Sporting Hound is provided “as is.” To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for losses that come from using the site, its listings or the places it lists.
Changes
We may update these terms as Sporting Hound grows. We’ll change the “Last updated” date above. Using the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
