Agostino Rocchi, an adoptable dog

—His story

Agostino Rocchi is an active, affectionate young guy who brings big energy and even bigger love. He's a running-partner-ready, ball-obsessed charmer who can self-entertain with toys — and when the fun finally winds down, he settles in with a grin for everyone in the room. He's enjoyed time with other dogs and has "super cuddler" written all over him.

—Sporting potential

Here’s where Agostino Rocchi could shine.

01
Flyball
Agostino Rocchi's ball obsession is practically a flyball résumé in itself — a dog who self-entertains with toys and arrives with big energy is exactly the kind of athlete who thrives on the trigger-and-retrieve rhythm that defines this relay sport. His affectionate, team-loving nature means he'll feed off the excitement of his handlers and canine teammates, making every heat feel like the best moment of his life.

Disc Dog

A ball-obsessed charmer who brings big energy and knows how to work a room is a disc-dog prospect hiding in plain sight — Agostino Rocchi's drive to chase and his natural showmanship make the toss-and-catch dynamic feel tailor-made for him. The sport rewards dogs who are tuned in to their handler and hungry for play, and Agostino, with his affectionate streak and high enthusiasm, is both of those things in spades.

Canicross — recommended sport for this dog.

Canicross

Agostino Rocchi is already described as running-partner-ready, which is essentially the canicross mission statement — harnessed up and moving in sync with his human, this active, affectionate young dog would find the sport's steady forward momentum deeply satisfying. His big energy sustains the kind of joyful effort canicross demands, and his super-cuddler personality ensures the post-run cool-down is just as rewarding as the race itself.
