His story.
Steadham is a 12-year-old gentleman who has known a home before and simply needs someone to choose him again. He's sweet and quiet, potty trained, walks politely on leash, and is wonderfully non-reactive with other dogs. Arthritic and moving at his own pace these days, his ideal day is a short sniff-walk followed by a long, comfortable rest — no chaos required, just kindness.
Sporting potential.
Here’s where Steadham could shine.
Nose Work
Steadham is a 12-year-old gentleman whose greatest joy is a slow, purposeful sniff-walk — and nose work was practically invented for a dog like him. The sport demands nothing from his arthritic joints that he isn't already doing on his own terms: nose down, world blocked out, every molecule of scent a small and satisfying puzzle worth solving.
