Weight Pull

The American Dog Breeders Association (ADBA) is the largest registry for the American Pit Bull Terrier, and since 2006 it has registered other purebreds too. It sanctions weight pulls alongside its conformation shows and Top Dog athletic events, and host clubs often run pulls and shows on the same weekend. Entry is limited to ADBA-registered dogs, intact or spayed/neutered and registered in the current owner's name, plus dogs in ADBA's Limited Performance Program (LPP), which lists altered, unregistered dogs that appear purebred on visual inspection. A dog pulls a cart 15 feet in 60 seconds on voice command only, with no bait, and placings go to the most weight pulled per pound of body weight. Points add up over a dog's career toward the Weight Pull ACE title, recorded in the ADBA studbook.

No upcoming ADBA events on the map right now.
