Nose Work / Scent Work
K9 Scent Games (KSG) is a newer scent-work sanctioning organization founded by Rosana Dropkin (CPDT-KA, CNWI) of Sunshine K9s in East Tennessee. It's built to complement the other venues, not replace them: the same three odors as NACSW (birch, anise, clove), with hides prepared to NACSW strength, but its own levels and two elements you won't find elsewhere. FastFinds is a timed container game (45 seconds at Novice and Advanced) that tests reading your dog under pressure. Solo has the dog search a marked area on its own while the handler waits outside the boundary. Dogs earn titles element by element and can stay at a level, or step down, in the Pro division, so older dogs keep playing.
