Lure Coursing
ASFA is the oldest dedicated lure coursing body in North America, founded in 1972. Sighthound-only by design, with a robust breed-stakes culture, detailed scoring sheets, and a deep title ladder. Programs include the core FCh and accumulating LCM titles, veteran stakes, singles stakes with the Title of Coursing Proficiency (TCP, CPX), and the Lure Chasing Instinct (LCI) program that opens ASFA's lure to non-sighthound breeds. Scoring is breed-aware — what an honest Whippet run looks like is not what an honest Afghan Hound run looks like.
