Greater Swiss Mountain Dog Club of America (GSMDCA)

The Greater Swiss Mountain Dog Club of America's Pack Hike program is the most concretely codified US breed-club pack titling system — specific distances, load percentages, route conditions, and club-run hikes approved by its Pack Dog Committee in advance. It runs as a single-breed program for Swissies, and its rules are unusually concrete.

Greater Swiss Mountain Dog club's draft program; tests may be open to all breeds or GSMD-only. A three-part test — basic control, harnessing and maneuvering, freight haul of about a mile. 18-month minimum age, pass/fail, and a non-title Draft Capability Test from 12 months.
